Growing up on a farm in Arapohue, Northland, New Zealand, life was always lived outdoors-usually barefoot and surrounded by nature. That connection to fresh air and open spaces has never left me. Today, it’s what continues to draw me back to the wild landscapes of Africa, where I specialise in creating Kenya safari tours and bespoke African safari experiences.

My first journey to Africa was in 2009, travelling overland through ten countries. What began as a once-in-a-lifetime trip quickly became something much more. Since then, I’ve returned year after year, expanding my travels across the continent and developing a deep understanding of the destinations I now design tailor-made safari itineraries around.

Through this time, I’ve also taken part in wildlife conservation programs-experiences that influence how I approach responsible travel and shape the authentic safari experiences in Kenya that I offer today.

Kenya, and in particular the world-renowned Maasai Mara safari region, has become my second home. I now base myself there for several months each year, working closely with trusted local partners to deliver seamless, high-quality African safari packages.

What started as a simple Facebook page to share my wildlife photography gradually evolved into something unexpected. As my work reached a wider audience, people began asking if I offered hosted safari tours in Kenya. In 2014, I decided to explore the idea-and that first trip marked the beginning of what has become my full-time focus.

In 2015, I established my own safari business, specialising in custom safari planning in Kenya. Today, I offer a combination of bespoke safaris, small group safaris in Africa, and carefully curated luxury safari Kenya experiences, all designed with a strong personal touch and attention to detail.

When I’m not hosting guests, you’ll find me out in the field with my camera. Wildlife photography remains a core part of what I do in Kenya- capturing Africa at its most raw and beautiful. My work has been recognised internationally, with features in overseas publications and finalist placements in global photography competitions, along with appearances in New Zealand media.

This journey continues to evolve-and I’m excited to share it with those who feel the same pull toward Africa.
